Figure it out-Maths

Yesterday and today, my class were focusing on word problems from the Figure it out books. The page I work ed on was the page about Listing factors.

I listed all the factors from 1-20. I found that there were numerous patterns in the factors I listed. I also found that there were eight numbers that only had two factors. All those numbers are prime numbers, (2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19). Fun fact if you don't already know, Prime numbers is a natural number greater than 1 with no positive divisor. Prime numbers has exactly two factors, 1 and itself. I now know the factors of all the numbers from 1-20. Here are the factors for each number.

I also completed the next page which contained decimal problems. I found the decimal problems challenging and I think I rose to the occasion when I was given the questions. I really enjoyed working with the figure it out book, it really got me thinking hard!.
